Self-Adapting Fixing Wedges are specialized plastic interdental wedges designed for Class II restorative dental procedures. Featuring a contoured “wave-style” design with a hollow underside, they compress during insertion and expand in the embrasure space to create a tight, uniform cervical seal against matrix bands without damaging soft tissue.

Clinical Note: Self-adapting plastic wedges are designed specifically for matrix seal and adaptation. Because they do not exert substantial separation force on their own, they are best used in combination with a sectional matrix separation ring.
