Epitex® strips are ultra‑thin, aluminum‑oxide abrasive finishing and polishing strips designed for interproximal contouring of composite, glass ionomer, and metal restorations. The abrasives are embedded directly into the strip substrate rather than glued, ensuring a smooth, clog‑resistant surface and gentle treatment of tight contact areas.

Kit Contents

• 4 × 10 m reels (5 mm width) of grit strips: Coarse, Medium, Fine, Extra‑Fine

Usage Guidelines

No setting time—strips are used immediately in sequence from coarse to extra‑fine as needed. Choose strip length for access; apply light pressure and pass gently over the contact area. Replace with matrix strip for final smoothing.

• Interproximal finishing, smoothing, and polishing of composite, glass ionomer, metal, and hybrid restorations
• Stain removal and polish enhancement in tight contacts
• Contouring restoration margins without damaging gingiva or adjacent enamel

Instructions for Use

1. Select the appropriate grit sequence (coarse → medium → fine → extra‑fine).
2. Tear off a 5–10 cm strip and thread it through the interproximal space.
3. Hold ends with finger or strip holder; slide back and forth with light pressure.
4. Proceed through grits until desired smoothness and gloss are achieved.
5. Finish with the clear matrix strip for final smoothing and shine.
6. Discard or disinfect strip holder between patients.
